Spirit Airlines Launches Daily Flights from Norfolk Airport to Top Florida Destination

As Spirit Airlines begins service at Norfolk International Airport, Virginia is even more appealing for travelers (ORF). With daily routes to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Orlando (MCO), the carrier debuted its new service, providing Norfolk residents with more options. Visit Florida’s best tourist destinations.

Spirit Airlines Vice President of Network Planning John Kirby said, “Our Norfolk Guests are in for a terrific ride when they discover our low tickets and practical nonstop flights to two popular destinations including amusement parks, beaches, and attractions. We are excited to invest in the airport and the community through the Spirit Charitable Foundation and we can’t wait to welcome Norfolk travelers onboard.

Mark Perryman, president and chief executive officer of the Norfolk Airport Authority, said, “We have been looking for Spirit Airlines service at Norfolk International Airport for quite some time. We anticipate great success with these new flights to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, which are already enthusiastically received.

Since beginning operations in Richmond (RIC) in March 2018, the airline has been serving the state of Virginia for five years this month. One-stop connections to places in Latin America and the Caribbean can get Virginia Visitors even farther.
