Mark Perryman, president and chief executive officer of the Norfolk Airport Authority, said, “We have been looking for Spirit Airlines service at Norfolk International Airport for quite some time. We anticipate great success with these new flights to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, which are already enthusiastically received.
Since beginning operations in Richmond (RIC) in March 2018, the airline has been serving the state of Virginia for five years this month. One-stop connections to places in Latin America and the Caribbean can get Virginia Visitors even farther.
